This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner located in Tampa, FL. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating rheumatologic conditions, developing care plans, and prescribing medications. The role also includes educating patients about their conditions, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Daily tasks involve direct patient care, medical documentation, and participation in case discussions.
Experience in patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Knowledge of rheumatologic conditions and treatment approaches
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health records
Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license
Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
Experience in a Rheumatology clinical setting is preferred
